Where can you earn on crypto and still sleep at night?
For every big exchange we lead with a transparent safety score, proof-of-reserves, reserve composition and trend, MiCA licensing and incident history, then show the exchange's promotional earn rate next to it, a marketing rate, not a guaranteed return. We rank by safety-weighted yield so a sound desk comes first. Every number links to its source. Not advice.
Tune the score to what you trust
Drag a slider to say how much each thing matters to you. The score, the ranking and the chart update live as you do. The defaults reproduce our published score.
✓ In the robust region, the failures stay separated across this weighting. why? →
- Risk score.
- How safe & transparent an exchange looks, 0-100 (higher = safer). It's about trust, not price.
- Top APY.
- The best yearly interest the exchange advertises on a deposit. A struck-through rate is the headline before limits; the second number is what you'd really earn.
- Safety-weighted yield.
- The promo earn rate scaled by the 0-100 safety score, one number that ranks sound desks above risky ones. A ranking index, not a predicted return (the score is ordinal, not the literal odds).
- Confidence.
- How much of the score is backed by real, sourced data. Low confidence = we couldn't verify much.
- Proof of Reserves (PoR).
- Public, verifiable proof the exchange really holds customer funds.
- MiCA.
- The EU's crypto regulation. “MiCA only” shows just the registered ones.
Yield × Risk
8 of 8 with live yieldBubble size = safety-weighted yield. Top-right corner = high yield with high transparency. 7 exchanges have no live yield data (they stay in the table below, for risk).
